![]() ![]() ![]() I was in awe of Daniel maneuvering that huge bus on narrow traffic-clogged streets. If you’re a family looking for a nice relaxing boat tour of Miami, don’t use them because your trip might end up ruined. I saw good reviews and after an experience like this I’m not sure why. Extremely disappointed in the Miami boat tour company for allowing such people onto the boat. We lost a half hour of our boat tour to this and now have to deal with getting our money back. We saw a couple of other people chosen who were also families with kids, easily distracted. It was no coincidence we were chosen, because we are married and have a kid. Turns out it was some third party scam company probably going to try selling us timeshares. We paid her, despite both thinking it was too good to be true because we still thought it was through the boat company. She said we had to attend a meeting the next day, no obligation to pay anything aside from a 40 dollar deposit. She took us down to the first level of the boat where it was hard to hear her or think about making proper decisions. We were called up because we had supposedly won and we were whisked away by a woman who then proceeded to explain all the details of the vacation. We thought that this was through the Miami boat tour company. The boat ride was going really well until we were approached by scammers with slips of paper to fill out in order to be entered into a raffle to win a free vacation. On top of all of this, they claim to be BBB accredited on their website, but they are not. Once we got back to our hotel I emailed this company only to receive a string of emails from the owner saying I'd have to reach out to Expedia and its not their fault at all, I even pointed out the fact that they never had us sign a liability form either. The entire boat got in the water at the snorkeling spot and got stung by over 100 jellyfish, the crew treated the entire tour very poorly with a "suck it up' attitude on the way back. Once we boarded the boat for the snorkeling trip it got even worse. Upon arriving the driver sent us on a wild goose chase to meet up with him which we finally did. We booked another Lyft costing $230 this time to get to Key West. We had then been left with the option to either bail on the entire day or take another Lyft to Key West to meet up with the tour. When we arrived we got a call from the driver claiming that he left the Mcdonald's in Tavernier 30 minutes prior. We booked a Lyft to Key Largo (The Mcdonald's the bus was supposed to stop at), and this cost us an additional $78. We attempted to board another bus that was going to the same location and got kicked off that bus saying we didn't pay for that one, there was no attempt to help us. The diver took a picture of the door supposedly at 7:22 (while we had still been standing there) and then placed a 5-second phone call to me before driving off. We were told to be at the pickup location by 7:15, I texted and called every number provided to us to let them know we would be 2 minutes late, we got there at 7:17 and waited in front of the hotel. This was the worst experience I have ever had, I was sent a confirmation email the day prior filled with false information about the trip saying our bus would be stopping at a Mcdonald's in Key Largo (It didn't stop there it stopped at a McDonalds in Tavernier) and the number on the email to call if we need help isn't open till after 9 am. ![]()
